On our way...NOT!!!

Well, it is 8:40 on the night before we leave for the big cross-country trip, and our camper and van have been stuck in the mud for 2 hours. John & Dwayne tried in vain to pull it out with our little truck...finally called the neighbor up the street with the big truck and he was successful. What a way to start a journey--I guess we can only hope that it gets better from here. Well, we can't help but see this as a reminder that we are not in control of our plans, but we can be sure that God's plan is better than ours--even when it involves standing out in the rain all evening. And a reminder that we need God for every aspect of this trip! Couldn't do it without him...that's for sure!!

And they're off!

Have a great trip guys. Cherylee and I were thinking of you last night and this morning. We are praying that God would give you great memories from these next three weeks!

Looking forward to your updates...

Hi Guys,

We are praying for your safety as you travel.

I stopped by yesterday(Sunday) to put out the trash but Daniel must have beat me to it. I checked on the basement and all was well. That second new sump pump was running and that saved the day for you. I did put your can back tonight(Monday).
